Tarzan's Rescue

Tarzan, an African lion cub, was kept in this sterile 3' x 3' x 4' cage for his first 2.5 years of life. His only toy was an old coconut. (Click the pictures below to enlarge.)    

The wooden fence (photo on left) was the only barrier between Tarzan and the public (you can barely see him through the barrier). His cage was located between it and the hotel wall.
