Conflict of Interest Policy

Board members or their family members may not profit from the organization's activities.

A board member may only receive a salary as a staff member of the organization for active duties performed according to their job description. The board of directors may not be compensated for their duties as board members.

In the event a motion is presented before the board, which may directly or indirectly profit or benefit a voting member or an immediate family member, that board member will be excused from voting on that partricular issue or item.
